About Us and Our Practice

We are a group private practice serving Colorado statewide through in office and telehealth services. We specialze in Women's Issues, Trauma and PTSD, LGBTQIA, BIPOC, BDSM, Kink, Marginalized and Underserved. We believe everyone, regardless of their situation, deserves quality mental health services, supports and resources.

Our Story

High Desert Counseling and Healing Center started in July of 2017. It was just Mary Sanchez, a tiny office and a vision of creating a safer space for people who were on Medicaid, LGBTQ, Marginalized and Underserved. Over the years High Desert Counseling has expanded and includes many therapists who share Mary's philosophy and vision. Our Therapists are compassionate, inclusive, welcoming and passionate each with their own unique approach on mental health and healing.
